Hello Tami,
I have been on oxycontin 20mg 2 three times a day plus Norco every 4-6
hours for break through pain but this is for adhesions and I have a
ruptured disc in my back. I was also diagnosed with Irritable Bowel
Syndrome. The pain meds cause terrible constibation so this also upsets
the adhesions due to the swelling. Please tell your doctor that the
20mg every 12 hours is not working. This dosage is usually the starting
point for the Oxycontin. Please let me know what he says. We are all
hear for you and will help you in any way possible. We have been there
and realize the pain and frustration not to mention depression you are
going through.
